From: CDK1 mediates the metabolic regulation of DNA double-strand break repair in metaphase II oocytes

Over-expression of CCNB1 and CDK1 promote break-induced replication in MII oocytes. A Over-expression of CCNB1-mVenus, CDK1-mCherry or CCNB1-mVenus mixed with CDK1-mCherry in GV oocytes could rescue the Milrinone induced GV arrest. The fluorescence signal could be detected 3 h after cRNA injection. The GVBD rates were recorded 8 h after cRNA micro-injection. Statistics performed by Fisher’s exact test. B Over-expression of CCNB1-mVenus mixed with CDK1-mCherry promoted the break-induced replication in the MII oocytes which were matured in M2 + glucose + pyruvate + FBS (M2 + G.P.F.) medium. Statistics performed by Fisher’s exact test. Scale bar, 10 μm. EGFP cRNAs were used as control. Significance markers: **, p < 0.01
